Bankart Lesion Repair

The tearing of the labrum away from the glenoid is clearly
seen in the front of the shoulder as viewed from posteriorly.

A suture anchor is placed at the anterior margin of the glenoid.

Suture tied holding labrum securely against the
anterior margin of the glenoid where it belongs.

Suture passing device seen above the prior suture where
the next suture and anchor will be placed on the anterior
glenoid margin in order to secure additional labrum.

Three anchors and their sutures have been placed into the
anterior margin of the glenoid in order to secure the
labral tear - Bankart lesion - back to the bone.
